Less

"A smaller amount of; not as much...of lower rank or importance...to be a smaller

extent; not so much."

    Am I not as much?

When you hold her in your arms like I wish you would hold me, do you think of

me as being of lower rank or importance?

    Emotionless.

Without you to make me laugh. Play your song for me please? Lose

yourself in the music while I lose myself in you.

    Helpless.

Against your charms. My willpower isn't strong enough to walk away from

someone so perfect.

    Hopeless.

Because you'll never know this poem and you'll never know me.

    Less.

I am a smaller amount of your life, a smaller extent of your day, of lower rank

in your heart.

But I still come back for more.
