A Lesson for a Girl Who Wanted to Die

When I heard her say she would be okay with dying right now

and how she watched me beat myself until i was bloody and bruised

and she watched me cut myself with broken beer bottles and nail clippers

all I could say was, don't ever throw that in my face again.

All i wanted to say was

self help

not

self harm.
