Lessons

Some of the best lessons we learn aren’t the ones we learn in the classroom.

You never taught us what NOT to say we just learned how to filter ourselves.

There are things missing in our history books, but we are taught to be silent.

The schools give awards for the best attendance but not for supporting yourself to keep you and your family off the streets.

What did you learn in class today?

Don't walk fast in the halls, don’t speak loud otherwise people stare and it feels like puncture wounds, keep your head down.

Every state in America, the greatest lessons are the ones you don’t remember learning.
