Lessons in Flowing

Revising, Revision, Revised. Risen. Dreaming, Dreamt, Dreamed. Drifting. A raft, a rally, a roar. A relapse. At half past ten On the corner of Thistle and Spruce. A reminder. I once jumped a fence to see if gravity would really catch me Not because I'm at ends with Newton but because I was at ends With myself. Rushing to solid ground I let all my of skeletons pull me back down. Sinking. Lying, Lies, Lied. Extracting. Fearing, Fear, Feared. Alluding. A murmur, a malice, a man. A martyr. Who only ever traveled To the corner of Spruce And never stepped foot on Thistle. A memory. I once held onto a train ticket for a full year after it was used Because if you can hold the past,You can still live it. Pushing through memories I let all of my words keep me safe and sound. Trying. Passing, Pass, Passed. Proof. Moving, Move, Moved. Master. A raft, a rally, a roar. A relapse. At half past ten On the corner of Thistle and Spruce. Well off, and well to do.
