Lessons On Love

Love's ways can be hard and stern, but when it calls for you, answer it. You must believe in love, even if it sometimes carries pain along with it. Love can hurt you, but not fret because love can also be a wonderful thing. Once you discover the secrets of your heart, you can become a remnant of the heart of life. It is best not to seek only reconciliation and gratification if you want to love. You should always find time for yourself to laugh and to cry. However, try not to empty yourself of tears or laughter. Love does not give, nor does it take. It relies only on itself. You should thrive more to be in the heart of God than to have God in your heart. Love only seeks to fulfill itself, and you should always let love direct your course. If you shall have any desires, let it be the desires of love. For love's desires have many. The desires of love encompass praying for our loved ones. And giving thanks for another day worth living.

Growing up my godmother always told me that I am "in love with love." And though at first I took it to offense now I realize I should just stop fighting it. Now however I may be just using it as an excuse for everything (heehee) but that's still okay. Embrace it right?

I love this love poem, and think it's really sweet. I love you you tell us not to fill up on sad times and remember the good ones. It's beautiful and soemthing we all should remember. Thank you for writing this piece.

Becca.
