standing around the stove mashing tomatoes in our hands, her palms giving the sauce it's extra touch, as we laugh she’s filling my head with recipes for love, hope, success as we roll the meatballs in breadcrumbs her hands shaking I am a scribe for translating how to be a worry free woman enriching our roots we make love in the kitchen place the plates we want you to taste from our lesson book
