Let America Be America Again

Let America be America again.

Let it be the true plan we believed--

We should have left America alone to be a native home.

We invaded a village of teepees and buffaloes,

(America was a true native home)

We stole the plains and oil and gold

To let the truth be told--

They had a plan for their plains

Only if we could see true native life today

As you see is the green of money.

Despite it don't grow on trees-

You need their oxygen to breath,

But all you went to do is build textile and industry

You didn't give the little native childrena chance to dream.

To learn to hurt, and raise a family,

You have killed of their ancestors and traditions beliefs.

This is why the America you bulit is suffering--

With a president with a greed to build a wall

The missions to make the American dream fall-

By giving tribute to those you hurt your America--

The nation you have tried to build work
