Let go

There’s no day I don’t miss you,
It’s been two years already
I wonder where you are
Leaving with no goodbye wasn't fair,
I waited and waited for forgiveness
Until I realized it was pointless.

You came one day expecting a hello
But it was my turn to walk away,
You tossed and tore my heart
Like an old unwanted paper,
It can surely be fixed with right kind of glue
‘Cause when you left it all turned blue
And now I've discovered new colors,
I wish you the best of luck, but for now
So Long Old Friend.
