Let Go

Some people say talking helps Some people say writing works But nothing rids you of the pain Nothing makes you want to live "There's someone worse off than you" There's someone better off than me, too You can't help the way you feel Feelings aren't meant to be suppressed I wish I could erase this madness I want to really smile, if only a moment I need to touch the cheap thrill of laughter I have to take my shot of happiness Why can't I let it all go? What's holding me back? I keep listening to the same sad song The broken record's playing on repeat Is it fear of the past that's beating me down? Is it the stale truth suffocating my breathing? Is it my own mind playing tricks on itself? How can I sort this out when I'm all alone?

Jackie. I dare you to jump inside this wicked mind of mine. It's one hell of a ride.
