Let Go

I hate feeling like a kid Helpless and dependent. I hate feeling like an adult, Helpless and independent. Senior in high school, where should I be? Feels like everyone is so far ahead of me. I wish I could go back to Barbie and Barney days, Instead I’m stuck with tuition bills and dorm rooms. Am I wrong to want to be on my own, But not know what to do? Am I wrong to want to reverse time, But keep my independence? College, a wedding, then children. I have more to look forward to, but how do I get there? Blind faith, someone says, And I let go.
