Let Go

You’ve never really lived until you’ve found something to die for; And because of you, I started living; And for a moment the whole world fades away; And it’s just you and me; You are part of me like breathing; Now you're gone, and only half of me is left; And before you let go; Remember the reason why you were hanging on; I knew that in that moment; I had become a stranger; I never thought I’d feel so imperfect; That I’d ever feel so deceived; I felt impervious to heartbreak; But you convinced me otherwise; I guess you can say; I don’t know anything; Who am I to say you need me; Who am I to say you love me; And when you forget about her; Don’t you try to remember me; You let me go so effortlessly; Don't come back to me once you've had your fill; Let go.
