let go

She found her heaven in the tub
She found god in a razor
She found prayer
In the pain she caused.

Nothing ever stays the same
But her scars will never fade
So she can remember these days
When all she wants is to run away.

In a place far away
She slips into again
As the water turns red
And stains the tub.

But she doesn't cry now
She lets go of the light
And fades into the filthy night
Finally she lets go.
