Only those who have willingly let go
Can see their mind as it leaves
They perceive where its destination lies
While their body’s yearn for that place
They are the first to see the signs
That somewhere is better than here
So a void is created between realities
And the thoughts that become real

Only those who have willingly let go
Can understand that madness
Is simply mad to the found and un-maddened
That the placid can’t know the beauty
Of paradise’s individually stirred waters
That the colors of that mad world
Are original every day to every lost mind
That this created fantasy holds all reverie

Only those who have willingly let go
Know the sanctity offered there
The peace coming from leaving this world
Now perceived as senseless
How can anyone live in a world as such
When their musings could be existent
Elevating them from an ordinary life
How does one not let their mind out

Only those who have willingly let go
Know the choice of being free
