LET IT GO

This time Too much importance I had attached to this It's no crime If I let this go in peace For months I had to climb This mountain and the hills Which made me limp Neglecting the cool breeze Of pals telling me to let it be No, I persisted in persistence Neglecting the exuberance Of the other in it's real sense With my words of nonsense Wishing it made sense To talk sense into the sense Of my then highness Mocked by some Because I stood by my words In their thoughts I was pierced with swords Of wrath Now, now I'm letting go Of what has caused me pain All round even in my joyous days All I wanted was just your stay But I guess I blew that before anyways I needed you ' love ' I thought all my problems you could solve But no you could not I'll let you go But if you need me on the morrows Let me know If you're still young not worn out and not dry
