Let it kill you

Go ahead
Let the cigarettes and liquor slowly kill you
They'll burn up all of your insides,
Your lungs,
Your liver,
Your kidney,
Your bones,
Your teeth
And maybe when all of you has finally disappeared
I can bring it to myself
And say
"I knew it...
I knew that in the end I would be the one still standing,
As he was the one fading away..."

<p><strong>I like this poem</strong>. It's definitely tumblr-esque lol which in this case is a compliment.</p><p>One line tripped me up: "<span style="font-size:11px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">I can bring it to myself" This wording confused me a little and I found myself having to read the poem over again. usually, don't people say "I can bring myself to say..." </span></span></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:11px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Keep up the good work. =)</span></span></strong></p>
