Let it Not
If I must die,
Let it not be in fire
Let it not be
In the flames of desire
Nor let it be
On chilly ground
Shunned and rejected,
Missing of true sound
If I must Perish,
Be it not in green
Let me not be overcome by wants,
Yet think they are needs
If I must fall,
Let it be with pride
Not trapped in a corner,
After my faith has been tried
Let my end be
Devoid of blue
Fill it with light emotions,
That shall ring, strong and true
