"let it not be too late"

looking for my way on dusty worn paths eyes blurred with time back aching with burden feet shuffle along hands locked in prayer "let it not be too late" looking for my voice, thoughts racing for inspiration air thick with tension throat sore from disuse mouth afraid to open soul tired from suffering "let it not be too late" looking for me, the mirror holds no answers my way wrought with pain my voice choked with shame my mind misfires from abuse my heart beating hope "let it not be too late"
