Let it Ring

The happiest day of my life, it was there,

The saddest day of my life, it was there,

Created in 1776, it is here today.

It started with a thought,

It ended with an act,

It never falters.

It lets me speak,

It lets me write,

It allows me a choice.

It is freedom,

I can't live without it,

Let it forever ring!
