Let Knowledge Energize You

I would always move at a constant rate Propelled by the same winds of delusion In the riptide current of grandeur. Because, as they say, ignorance is bliss And what is more blissful than to float on and on At the same, constant rate? But then I looked down at the waves and saw them Tossing -in all directions- and knew the truth. The waves below me want to swallow my ship And it is in despair that you yearn for freedom. I found my freedom in the wind. I opened my sails and changed course My knowledge of the waves led to my freedom of choice Because, as they say, knowledge is power. And so I now accelerate Until there is land in sight And the energy of my knowledge Captured from the sky, Circulating in my sails, Opened by my own mind, In defiance of the viscious waves, Will strike and shake the island and its people Into seeing the truth. Therefore, knowledge of the truth leads to Freedom The knowledge of freedom leads to the choice of Truth. Let knowledge energize you.
