Let Me

Let me....

I know you are the man in this,
But Gender didn't bind us,
love did...
Your pains, our pains
The way you hold my hand on the busy pavements,
The way you hold me together;
On the moody days...
The way you kiss each of my eyes dry,
The way you replace all my tear stains
With happiness that rains
Onto me,
I too deserve to hold you,
Not because you trust me to see your tears..
But because I arise in all your fears ...
I know the weight each teardrop carries
A weight that has not just your problems..
But your problems, my thoughts and our future...
Let me make you feel better on any down days,
For I know which spot to tap to hit your highs.
I know how to not only caress your head
But every hair strands that rests on it...
I alone knows that when you break down,
Its not because you are less of a man!
But because your are human
And I fall in love with your humanity daily me
