Let Me Be

Let Me Be

By Raquel Gonzalez

There’s a world around me

From the land and sea

To the forest with the trees

Let me be, let me be

Let me be the world around me

Let me Stand with the trees

Let me fall with the leaves

Let me sore in the sky,

With the birds and fly

Let me be, let me be

Let me be the world around me

Let me cry of the pain,

With myself and the rain

Cause, there’s a world around me

From the land and sea

To the forest with trees

Let me be, let me be

Let me be the world around me

Let me shine with the sun

Let me sparkle with the stars

When the day is done

Let me be the one,

To say goodbye

To the day that passed bye

Let me be, let me be

Let me be the world around me

In the morning and night

In the sky way up high

In the wind and the rain,

With my cries of pain

In the sun and stars

From the trees to the leaves

Let me be, let me be

Let me be the world around me
