Let Me Be Myself
Don't tell me what to wear
don't judge by the way I wear my hair
Sometimes I need to be alone and that's okay
I don't always know what to say
Don't make any assumptions due to what you see
I don't have any confidence even though it is key
It's not bad that I am quiet
silence is gold for those who buy it
Treat me with respect and equality
while I maintain my own sanity
Don't tell me how to live my life
just let me be myself
