Let Me Dance

I wanna dance and never stop
But, when you tell me I can't it makes me feel weak
I can spin on my head just like a top
People stare like I'm some sort of freak
They give me those eyes filled with rejection
This is what I love, this is me
Worse than a drug, no need for injection
Give me a chance! I'll prove it, you'll see
I have something to offer just let me try!
You say I can't, because I'm not a lawyer or doctor?
You telling me I can't is worse than the chair where I would fry
Can you hear my dreams crying in her cage where you locked her?
I want to live happily just like you
Except, it will be me with my dance and you with your money
For when the time comes when we leave this world and start new
I will have my dance, and as for your wealth? Well.. let me tell you something funny.
