LET ME FEEL!!

LET ME FEEL! I heard a man speak from his heart and another man speak from his bravado. The first man’s words are gentle and from a place he’s been allowed to be a boy. The other man spoke with the usual male ego coming from a place that has stunted his growth. We call our baby boys men before they know what it means to be a man…telling them not to cry or feel their pain. The boy who has been allowed to feel his pain and express his feelings looks at the world in a different light. When he deals with people it’s with his words no his might…he was not forced fed that macho bravado Hollywood bullshit, so when he meets the woman of his dreams he can tell her with true conviction and his gentle words flows from his heart. The boy’s who were told there a man before their time and men don’t cry. The boy’s who were told when they fell down and started to bleed that you were supposed suck it up and be a man. This boy was fed that macho bravado Hollywood bullshit and has been told not to feel his feelings and to be the strong silent type. He meets the woman of his dreams….she need to feel his words, because the boy who’s now a man searches for the words to say to her heart, but they do not come easily due to the stunting of his feelings.
