Let Me Out

Detached from the place of love Alone in only my fear I am trapped with no way out But won’t anyone come save me? Let me out so that I can breathe That fresh air that has been so Cruelly taken away from me These four walls Are the only images I see White and bland They blend so perfectly well With the light that shines Though the cracks But it doesn’t reach me I feel tired Won’t anyone try And be the one To release me? When the night falls The walls turn dark Black is all I see No stars in the sky Can ever glisten in my eyes No moon can guide me To the ocean of peace I should have known that No one is coming For someone like me
