Let Me Sleep

Please let me sleep

Stop showing up when I close my eyes

Stop haunting me

Stop lingering at the end of every thought

Please leave me alone

And just let me sleep

Stop speaking words that only I can hear

Stop telling me things you've never said

All they do is echo

And I can't take it anymore

Please

Just let me sleep

Its been so long

Since I could dream in peace
