LET ME TAKE YOU BY THE HAND
LET ME TAKE YOU BY THE HAND
let me take you by the hand;
and lead you through this land,
of a place unplanned,
where we will discover
many mysteries of intrigues,
along the way today,
where simple songs are performed;
by buskers of two,
and roving minstrels of three
with four stringed ukuleles,
for they are singing robustly
and real flat out of tune,
but for the likes of you and me,
we seem however to connect,
and go our ways
to this other place,
where the grass is greener
through the fence.
and on the other side
dead leaf’s drop
and make a mess,
which is part of nature’s ploy;
to balance out her plan
and to stabilise her ways,
so, let me take you by the hand;
and lead you through this land,
of a place unplanned
where we will discover.
