Let me write to you a poem.

I write the words that brake the lines on a page.

I write the words that brake the ideals of society.

I write to destroy the walls of hatred.

The words that shine light on racism.

The words that crack discrimination.

The words that reveal our prejudice.

I write the words that set fear on fire and drown your sorrows.

I write to say, “goodbye".

I write to say, “I love you”.

The words that say, “No I am not perfection, but by all means I am perfect.”

I write to escape. 

I write to understand.

Let me write to you a poem.

My words trap the air.

My words stare you down.

My words pierce the heart.

My words breathe deep sighs.

My words offer a kind smile.

My words mend.

My words are perfect poetry.

It is perfectly evil.

It is beautifully broken.

It is lovely chaos.

It is delicate danger.

It feeds the soul with every encaptivating word.
