Let Me Write on Your Heart

Let me write on your heart

Let me breathe on your lips

Let me tell you I love you

While the sun slowly dips

Let me take your hand

Paint the sky with my soul

Grasp the moon with your eyes

So I will not fall

Let me fly through the heavens

As the stars light up your face

Let me move like a fire

Then slow me down a pace

Let me know when joy dies

That I am a rose

And you will water me with your tears

To help me steadily Grow

And when time comes again to soar

On wings that gently whisk the air

I shall not be afraid to fly over the moon

Because you will be waiting for me there
