Let Them See

Hiding away, the girl always was,

out of her mind, she dreamt up a life.

The Other life was good,

full of good people, and good manners.

She felt good, and slipped from the world,

slowly, slowly, drifted away.

Out of her mind, her body stayed behind,

a broken shell, with her soul already gone.

Hey, I'm seventeen, and many of those years have been spent devouring Italian mint chocolate chip ice-cream. I love Italian mint chocolate-chip ice-cream. You should really know that: that I LOVE ITALIAN MINT CHOCOLATE CHIP ICE-CREAM (okay, I think you get the picture now, huh?).
