Let Them See
"Go out among the nations and proclaim the Good News and proclaim liberty to the captives....For you are the salt and light of the world." Matthew 5:13-14; 61:1
Set a fire down in my soul, let it burn, let it flame, let it spread like a wildfire, let the whole world see you!
Let the whole world see that you are beautiful, let them see you are painting beauty with the ashes.
Let them see death is dead and gone!
Let them see you, because you are good! Let them see the cross, where my sin was washed white, let them see the risen King, robed with all glory, and majesty, who conquered and defeated my enemy.
Look what you've done on the cross with arms stretched open wide; at the grave with a stone rolled away.
Look what you've done for me, in my heart, in my life, and in my mind.
Let them see what you've done to me.
Who the Son sets free, is free indeed, I am a child of God.
Jesus, let the whole world see you robed in all beauty and splendor!!
Let them see death is dead and gone; let them see the victory is already won!!
Let them see chains breaking, Jericho walls falling and mountains moving; let them see the Lion Judah.
The Lamb that was slain, the cross, with the Savior's arms stretched open wide.
Let them see where death was left behind!
Let them see families reunited, let them see captives set free, salvation fill the streets, the dead come to life, mental health restored!
Let them see lives transformed, and hearts being made alive.
Jesus, let them see you in the darkest times,
the hardest nights, in the waiting, the searching, in the hurting, in the rejoicing; let them see you!
In every moment, every second, minute, and hour let them see you!
Let them see that you are deserving of all of our praise and our worship!
As long as I'm breathing I've got a reason to praise your name,
on the mountaintops and in the valleys, in the highest highs and lowest lows.
Let them see that you are the peace and the comfort in the midst of the storm.
Because you are faithful, altogether lovely, altogether worthy, altogether strong and mighty.
Amen! To God alone belong all praise all glory, and all honor!
