Let us be heard

Is it really my fault

I can't explain the heavy heart I feel

I feel like crying

But I have to hold it in

Everything is my fault

It's not my fault that I was born

You don't understand what goes on

You believe it's all in my head

You believe I am asking for it

You believe that I should be perfect

You believe it's all in my head

I never asked to be the way I am

I never asked to be here

I never asked to be shamed

I never asked to be born

Stop it all

I can't take it anymore

Why can't you live on with your life

I am here to be me

Not to please anybody

Many lives on the line

And yet I am still here

I am going to live my life

Putting up with everything my head held high

Living for those who have been silent

I don't care what people care about my decision

it's my life

And I'm here to speak loud

Let their voices be heard

Forget those in the past

Take my hand

And walk with me through our journey

With our heads holding up high
