let us prey

i come to you hungry and tire glad i didn't get fire just keeping my head above water making sure i don't drown many times people attempt to keep me down i rise above the hate like john cena and feel like a king wearing a crown jealousy breeds envy in which folks act like snakes slithering to coil and strike i run them over splattering them in the streets with my dirt bike there are times where patience are tested digging deep in my soul to resist the idea of retaliating will not be infested finding the light at the end of the tunnel leads to my future being invested avoiding interference from stupidity is contagious like a bad germ contaminated continuing my journey to the walk of life is more precious than a rusty gem that is jaded what happened to me prior is a thing of the past that is faded moving forward, i will continue to rewrite history and change outlook of society's perception that Latinos will be incarcerated
