Let's Change Poverty

All I am asking for is change

Let us do away with this pain

No more childish games

And let poverty get some fame

Let us do our neighbors a favor

Whether they are close or far

Let us become their savior

And wish upon a shooting star

Bring the needed food

Bring along clothes

Let us put all in a good mood

This is bound to make them smile, I suppose

Let us build houses

So they no longer sleep floors

And share space with the mousses

They will love it- for sure

So what do you say?

Are you in for helping the poor?

The situation is getting worse by the day

So what exactly are you waiting for?

We could be that difference

Even if we only help a few

We know we did this with perseverance

What else are you going to do?
