Let's Fall in Love

Water fell onto our faces as I lost my mind to him.

The sudden creation of touch caused my other senses to be lost in transmission.

Any noise that mattered was shut out by the way his hands claimed my waist.

I lost my eyes to my hands as they pressed against his cheeks, stubble being an only obstacle.

My taste was given away to the sensation I felt in my chest that restricted my breathing.

Everything that I had possessed had given themselves away to this person, who had a habit of taking everything away from me in the first place.

This production of our skin being placed together left me to lose it on the surface and to feel it within me.

The emptiness that had consumed me left.

I no longer felt alone and for the first time, I didn’t have to feel that way anymore.
