Lets Rewind

Do I go forward, back, left, or right?

Everything seems to be a fright.

I have so much on my mind,

that I wish I could just press rewind.

I wish I could go back when I didn't worry about a thing,

and all I cared about were swings.

When all I wanted was to catch butterflies,

and all I saw were blue skies.

I want to go back when I didn't worry about what to wear,

just if I had my teddy bear.

Now I have to worry about so much more.

So much that you can't ignore.

It doesn't help that it seems life is going so fast.

So fast that in a minute tomorrow will be the past.

It's hard to make up your mind in such a short amount of time,

but that's how life can be a rapid climb.

Hopefully I wont have a lot of regrets,

but end up happy with whatever I get,

and if I'm not happy I will learn from my mistake.

Even if it causes a lot of aches.
