Let's Start Over

CC BY

My family,

It's falling apart,

Just like dominos.

When my brother makes my mom upset,

She gets mad at me.

And when I get mad,

I get mad at my sister.

My whole family,

Whom I am supposed to love,

Cherish,

And be with all my life,

Is just my worst enemies.

We are supposed to be allies,

Not strangers.

We are suppoesd to love,

Not hate.

Our chances of  staying together,

Forever,

Are very low.

I am now closing that chapter.

No,

Closing that book.

I grabbed a fresh new book,

Clean off the shelf.

I hold my mom's,

My brother's,

And my sister's hand as we name the new book,

With permanent Sharpie marker;

"The Positive Growing Book.
