A Letter to...

To the girl who starves herself,
To the boy who cuts himself,
To the one who puts a mask on,
To the person who feels unloved,

You are beautiful just the way you are,
You don’t have to feel pain,
You can take your mask off and show whom you are,
You are loved by many around,

To everyone this is not just a phase,
To everyone think before you speak,
To everyone learn from mistakes,
To everyone stop the genocide that has become our culture…

I find poetry a way I can use to tell the world my point of view
