Dear my mind,

Dark, darkness, all I can see
Wait..what happened to me?
Nothing, no sound at all
Before me stands a long hall
I walk down slowly, quietly
*tip tap tip tap*
The sound my shoes make
Leaving soft echoes in my wake
I drag my hand along the wall
A light forms at the end of the hall
I walk quicker, my steps turn into a jog
Suddenly, my body is surrounded by a dark fog,
I hear my name being called,
I hear my mother’s cries, I hear them all,
“Please come back! My poor baby!”
I run to her and burst through the door at the end of the row,
I hear a flatline and I’m hit in the chest with a strong blow
“I’m sorry..but she has let go..”
I stand above my body wondering what happened to me..
Dark, darkness, all I can see.
