Letter from an ant

I am but an ant Climbing up with this plant A leaf on my back Is all that I pack Along this path goes My troubles and woes I climb the hill slowly My friends follow closely My Queen waits for me Her command like a bee My leaf like a brick So heavy and thick Twas a walk up the tree It weighs twice more than me! But I never drop it- no! Never, ever think so My will is my strength I'll go to great lengths To feed the colony One leaf at a time If you were to try Dear human of mine Your shoes like clamps Just stomping on us ants Anger cannot explain Your idleness- what a shame! We ants, yes we know That you walk just for show The bricks you carry are minimal And that makes you a criminal Take the biggest leaf you find And please, just try to climb The distance you could go If you only watched our show
