A Letter to Anyone Who Will Listen

My darling holds a garden in her soul

A garden which overflows with life,

Which is unruly and wild,

And is breathtakingly beautiful because of it

Vines trail along the walls of the greenhouse of her lungs

Hanging flower pots spill carnations over their edges

Her ribs are interlaced with sage and rosemary

And beneath the skin of her hips resides blooming roses

If you look deep enough into her eyes,

You can see the glittering waters that feed the gardens below.

Her skin is as soft and the flowers underneath

And as tough as the vines.

Her garden is the most beautiful that i've ever seen

For everything that's in it

And I never want to stop watching it grow

Sincerely, a girl in love
