Letter to Camryn

Golden hair blowing in the wind,

the sun leaking flecks of light all over.

She dances in the sunlight; she lives in it.

Golden specks in her eyes,

the crinkle in her nose when she smiles,

the slight squint when she laughs.

These moment linger forever in my mind,

a moving picture of the memory.

For all the moments we shared together,

there will be an infinite number of us being apart.

However it will always be sweet, never bitter.

As she could never have such animosity in her heart,

therefore I must let go of this hostility I hold close to me.

Though I know she will always forgive me,

I will never forgive myself.
