Letter From The Future

Elevations by day, Poetry Slams through the night

Don't call myself a hero...I'm to busy living right.

The dark still prevails, but I'm caught within the light.

Never could be too sure, but 5 percent sounded right.

When It rains It pours, the soul less are still fiends and keep coming back for more.

Terrorists with etiquette who vote and kill their president

Their capacity for evil, so evident yet prevalent.

Irrelevant to me though, through the these eyes

It was always clear to me, that lies would always be

The wicked will sell your soul before you have the chance to see

What you were really destined to be..

Spreading fear like bad memories,

Easily controlled, ready to fold

An Illusion???? no confusion.

I never knew the future, but I never repeated the past

More money In the picture, more snakes in the grass.

Will stay true to what I do so the youth can come.

He was never In my picture, all I had was one.
