Letter to Future Son (unsystematic)

I am sure that you have learned in school about how whites once "ruled" this country.

We were slaves, got beaten for breathing the "wrong way" those days, they would say.

Abuse, hatred, discrimination and racism, no one was accepted having "the black race" in him.

Now today you are too young to grasp the fact that you will still have to ask,

"What did I do?" Your rights may be deprived and you may feel violated,

But I just need you to be respectful no matter how much you hate it.

Speak very well and act in a kindly manner since they do not expect such things from one who is much tanner than theirs because they see themselves as better planners for our country

I am not saying that all whites are bad and that all blacks are good. But those who do not treat others as they should.

Those who do not believe in equality, justice, and fairness in this country.

Son, what I am really saying is, when someone mistreats you because of your skin, embrace the intimidation one is feeling with in. Show them why they are intimidated in the most innocent way possible.

If you are approached in a violent way, the best thing to do is to walk away because those who have "power" can easily get away with the murder of a black kid who is allegedly "astray".

I shall continue to pray for those in our country today.

And I understand how absolutely absurd it is to have heard how sad our world is but just mark my word when I truly say that it is not near the end of this bird.
