A Letter To The Girl On The Orange Line

Hi- no, hello!

I always wondered if I asked if you came from above,

I’d be told to take a hike and that you came from below.

Please excuse use my constant staring,

I just so happen to fall into caring-

For girls who fall into the seat in front of me on the orange line.

I’d talk to you, but actually doing that seems a little too daring.

I’ll just hand this to you and pretend that it isn’t mine.

You are the wonder on the orange line.

I know that every morning that the sun rises, it despises how your beautiful irises can put anyone into a state of paralysis.

Your beauty is honestly a capital crime.

Every afternoon, despite looking so gloom,

I feel like I watch you bloom all over again.

I can’t ask you out because I feel like a vein in my brain would burst,

And using a cane would really restrain...

So hi- no, hello!

I know that I am in no way subtle,

but please be gentle.

I’m a bit eager, and you don’t have to say yes, but if you did it would be the best,

Can we take a rental?

Can we also go a little mental?

It would be fun just rest our rested souls to understand why we’ve set such high goals.

Hey girl on the orange line,

Would going out with me be such a crime?
