A letter to God
I asked the Lord,
"Where is love on Earth when I need it the most?"
When I need it the most,
I come to You, my sword
who always protects me.
I see the way you will always love me,
You want to be with me forever.
Even this I have a hard time believing,
but I can never say never.
When suitors com knocking on the door of my heart,
I ask that You will guard it.
Be my standard ,
Help me be not afraid of who you remade me to be.
The true love I seek is blinded,
jealous, unconditional,
nevertheless irrational.
I don't have the power to know what will happen tomorrow,
but help me give you this entire heart,
cleaning it from the sorrow,
repairing it cherishing every part..
Hold my future in Your hands.
Gently carress my mind, freeing it from all the stress.
Lovingly hold me in Your arms,
and never let me go for in You I can rest.
Stir my heart as quick as You can when You want me to move
from place to place not knowing when will be the next full moon.
I see the works of Your hands,
the stars, sun, moon, and astronomical beings spin in a heavenly dance.
Make me into Your star,
one that always reflects Your light,
traveling billions of lightyear distances through the night.
Collect every tear I shed in Your heart's jar
to remind me that for every good, there is a purposeful bad.
Thank You God for loving me and making my life new each day.
Help me continue on this path,
learning not to steer away .
