A Letter to Happiness

Dear Happiness,

You see this smile? Well it's fake.

I've traveled for miles, but my heart still aches.

Feeling like I'm crazy, like I'm going insane.

My heart is a black hole and it's controlling my brain.

I cried out for help, but no one would listen.

They were too warm to handle heat from my kitchen.

Melancholy misery, dismal unhappiness.

Depression is my name, but I just look like sadness.

You're name is Happy, you look like it too.

My name is sad, but I'm trying to look like you.

Sincerely,

Anonymous
