A Letter To Him

The “love” we shared is nothing i've ever experienced

It tore me, broke me and made me delirious

I constantly begged myself for a way out

But you held onto me and made me drown

One day i had enough and escaped

But not without scars to remember my pain

I'll never forget the way i was shaped

But I will move on and love again

////

I met someone

HE makes me feel worth living

HE sees the beauty inside me

And loves me eternally

HE trusts me to come back

You were insecure and always the one to attack

Your words hurt more than your hits

And your failure to commit left me in bits

But because he loves and gives me endless support

I can conquer all challenges like never before

HE respects me and is a perfect gentleman

His feelings and words are always genuine

I love him because he gave me a fresh breath of air

The ability to recognize the passion we never shared

And because of all i endured

I finally got my cure

The medicine to your insanity

A man who made me forget all the agony
