A Letter To Him
Dear You,
Your brown skin and brown eyes
seems to haunt my dreams
every night it seems.
Maybe it’s cause I’ve had a few sleepless nights and
No matter how many tears I shed I
can’t get you off my mind.
The way you laugh
or the way you smile.
I’ll never forget those summer nights
2 AM late nights
Laying under the stars talkin about our thoughts
or the times when it was just you and I.
I’ll never forget the way you believed in me
or the way you remembered so vididly.
The way you touched my soul
or turned my heart so cold.
Now I’m out here searching for something
I’ll never find again and I
don’t know how to hurdle over the pain.
Still melt everytime you speak.
Remembering our memories
and it hurts cause I
fell for the real you.
The insecure, trying to deal with it
you.
The damaged and confused
you.
The one searching for what he has already found
you.
The I’ll confide in you
you.
The let me bare my soul to you
you.
The I want something real
you.
But it’s 4 AM and I can’t sleep right
cause you are on my mind.
And I’ll always remember you
cause you are engraved in my mind
and in my heart.
And I guess I’m writing to let you go as a start.
I’ll never fall in love again
because you stole my heart.
So I’ll let it bleed like my pen when I wrote this
because you are all I wanted in the end.
This is my final goodbye,
to the one that I love
because he is the one I wanted.
I’ll bury this key deep inside and
Place everything above it
because my love was unwanted.
