A letter to the Human Race.

Dear Humans,

My Name is one you have probably never heard of before

Or one you do not understand

But I am everywhere

My hand reaches through places

Through souls, through heart and mind

My hand reaches everywhere.

Or at least it used to.

Who am I you ask?

I am love

Love

A 4 letter word no one seems to know anymore

A 4 letter word no one seems to have anymore

Why?

Why?

Let me tell you why.

My fellow Humans, we have been fooled

We have been tricked, deceived, lied to

My fellow Humans, we don’t know who we are anymore.

As I write this my heart is bleeding

And as you read this my soul is crying

Love is gone

Love has been kicked out of our lives

Love has been forced to surrender its hold on our lives

Because what we call progress is actually called Loveless.

Who are we to lay blame?

Do we even have a right to blame anyone?

Well, we can blame,

Our politicians

Our media

Our government

Ourselves.

Every day our Politicians stand up and say they fight for our unity

Yet they lie boldfaced to us

Their words might say unity but their eyes say division

They say they can see our struggles

All they see are votes.

They don’t have a plan for unity

They have a plan to divide

To conquer

To destroy

So who are they to stand and say they fight for us?

Every day our media tries their best to bring us the most depressing news

The most eye-catching news

The news that will get the most views and ratings

Because all they care for are

First their ratings

Second, their investors

And finally the truth.

They don’t care about love

Why?

Because we don’t care about love.

Building walls instead of bridges

We don’t strive anymore to reach our neighbours

We see love as an inconvenience

What we call progress is actually called Loveless.

What can we do to fix this?

How do we stop this?

Because during this era believe it or not

My fellow humans, love is on the line

Love is on the line

And is we don’t save it, it will be gone forever

So, my fellow Humans

I want you to go out there and find love

Reach for it, take hold of it

And my fellow Humans

Do not let it go.

Do not let the lies of the Politicians divide us

Nor the Lies of the media deceive us

We know who we are

We know what we want

We stand for a future where we can love

Love is not a waste

Love is not a lie

Love is real

Love is the only thing we have.

They tell us we don’t have what it takes to love

They tell us we don’t need love

But who are they to tell us who we are?

My fellow Humans let us take up arms

Arms filled with love

And show them that they can’t take love away from us

They can’t take who we are

Because we are love.

Let all our brethren’s stand for a common cause

Because the one thing I have learnt is;

Without love, what is life?
